How soon should I book?
Parties are on a first come, first serve basis. The sooner you book, the more likely you are to get the date and time you want.
What is your Service Area?
We service a 30 mile radius from Oak Lawn, Illinois, zip code 60453. For areas beyond 30 miles, there is a travel surcharge. See our Service Area page for map and travel surcharge amounts.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our game truck can comfortably seat 12 or more inside. Up to 20 can play at once (including our two outdoor gaming stations, which are weather-dependent.) Our Birthday Parties are best suited for 12 guests or less. For Birthday Parties with more than 12 guests, a $100 Surcharge will be added. (This does not apply to large group events such as school functions, corporate events, etc., where we rotate players in and out.)
How do I Book a Party and Reserve a Date?
The Check Availability/Book Now link on the menu bar will direct you to our reservation system. Choose your party type, then select your date and time (only available slots will appear on the date chosen.) Once you submit your information, we will verify availability and confirm your booking. When you receive your confirmation e-mail, you will be able to pay a $175 deposit via debit/credit card. The remaining balance due will be shown, and must be paid the day of your party when the Game Coach arrives. Balance must be paid in cash (exact amount) or by bank check or money order made payable to "Rolling Video Games of Chicagoland." NO PERSONAL CHECKS, please.
What does my video game party include?
Each party varies in length. Party choices include 1 Hour, 90-Minute and 2 Hour Parties (choices depend on day of the week). You can add time to any party during booking for longer parties or even all-day events! Each party includes a trained RVG Game Coach (who instructs and leads the party) and use of our Video Game Library and Gaming Consoles.
Do you have age appropriate video games?
We have a variety of games in our library from Minecraft and Mario Bros. to Shooters. Before every party we will ask the parents if there are any game restrictions. You decide what the kids can and cannot play. We also encourage your guests to bring in their own games for PlayStation 5, Xbox X, XBox One, XBox 360, Wii, PS4 and PS3. What does my gellyball game party include?
Each party varies in length. Party choices include 90-Minute and 2 Hour Parties. You can add time to any party during booking for longer parties or even all-day events! Each party includes a trained Game Coach (who instructs and leads the party), blasters, safety masks, bunkers (delivery only) and gellyballs.
What if I want additional time?
Parties are scheduled in advance. If the schedule permits we would be glad to add additional time for $175 each additional hour. We suggest you plan ahead and if you want to have Rolling Video Games of Chicagoland for a longer time, simply add extra time when booking your event.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
All event cancellations will be subject to a $125 cancellation fee if cancelled greater than or equal to 2 weeks of your scheduled date and time. For cancellations within 2 weeks of event, full price will be charged. Please be sure to contact us for any rescheduling issues in order to avoid any possible fees. We are more than happy to work with you as much as possible.
Can I have my party at the park?
We are mobile and self-powered so we are very capable of having you event at a park. However you are responsible for any permits or fees required by the local authorities. We will gladly provide proof of insurance or any documents needed to secure your permit. You are also responsible for securing parking for our Rolling Video Game truck. We need at least 60 feet of space to park the Rolling Video Game truck (6-8 parking spots).
How big is the Rolling Video Game Truck?
The Rolling Video Games truck is 32 feet long, 10 feet high and 8.5 feet wide. It is towed by a Full-Size pickup. We need about 60 feet of space to park, usually we block your driveway and the parking spot in front or behind it.
